Resident Evil 6 Is Coming!!!

   Hello once again action fans, for this blog I want to talk about one of the greatest action/zombie franchises in the movie business and gaming industry. You guessed right. I’m talking about Resident Evil.
   The first game came out in 1996, and it became a cult classic among gamers. The game eventually spun off a movie franchise with the first installment released in 2002.
   Now with five installments, the sixth Resident Evil movie is in pre production and it very well could be the final installment of the series.
   Milla Jovovich (“Ultraviolet”), who is best known for her role as Alice in these movies, will again be playing the same role in this latest installment. We last saw Alice in “ResidentEvil: Retribution” after being rescued from the Umbrella Corporation, who created the zombie menace. In the movie that is currently in production, Alice will face the hardest fight of her life. Humanity is preparing for its last stand and Alice must team up with her arch nemesis, Albert Wesker. Wesker is portrayed by Shawn Roberts (“ResidentEvil: Afterlife”). Together, Alice and Wesker join forces to overcome the rogue Umbrella computer entity known as the Red Queen.
   The sixth installment, according to imdb.com, is set to be released to theaters on September 12, 2014. It is reported to have a budget of seventy-five million dollars. This is the largest budget of all the previous films. For this reason, it is expected to be the finale for the series.
   Reportedly, the title of this supposedly final film is “ResidentEvil: Armageddon” according to imdb.com.
   So far Mila Jovoich is the only big name star that has been signed to do the film. We will have to wait and see who the writers add to the cast from the previous movies and the game. No doubt, other stars from previous installments will be added to the cast as production progresses. Some of the possible cast members could be Wentworth Miller (Prison Break), as Chris Redfield, and Michelle Rodriguez ("Fast and Furious"), as Rain or Sienna Gulliory ("Resident Evil: Apocalypse") as Jill Valentine.

Olympus Has Fallen

  Ok action fan for this post I want to talk about an action movie that I saw over the weekend that’s been out for a little over a month. The movie I’m talking about is called “Olympus Has Fallen” featuring King Leonidas himself, Gerard Butler  (“ 300 ”). The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua, (“ Training Day ”). Legend of Hercules

Photo By: movpins.com As fan of ScottAdkins (“ Expendables 2 ”) who portrayed the bad guy in the recently release of “ The Legend of Hercules ”, I went into watching this film hoping to get the feel of that Adkins’ villainy like he has done in his previous movies.  Adkins proved once again that he still can play a good villain and does great action fight scenes.    This movie has its origins in the story of the Greek demigod hero, Hercules, played by Kellan Lutz (“ Twilight ”), who is betrayed by his step-father King Amphitryon (Adkins) who tried to have him killed by sending him off to war because of his forbidden love with a rival kingdoms princess. Hercules survives and is sold into slavery.   Now Hercules must fight to survive and find his way to back to his love and save his kingdom from Amphitryon.       As I did research on this movie to provide my readers an accurate movie review blog, I noticed other reviews on this movie so as movie fan I read them.
